There is a lift to the restaurant on the mezzanine floor and disabled toilets throughout the airport. Wheelchairs can be provided by individual airlines, who will assist passengers onto the aircraft by ambulift.
GETTING TO THE AIRPORT
By Bus
Buses operate regularly to/from the airport; buses are easily-recognisable modern Mercedes Benz buses. A service runs to Bridgetown every 30 minutes 06:00-24:00, departing from the Main Road outside the terminal building.
By Taxi
Taxis operate from the airport, 24 hours a day, including Barbados Tours (tel: 246 420 2877) and Quintette (tel: 246 428 8735). Taxis operate on a fixed-fare basis and do not have meters; fares should be agreed upon in advance.

* Cash dispensers (ATMs) are available both before and after security control.
* Each arrivals concourse has an information desk where multi-lingual staff are on hand to deal with enquiries, usually 24 hours a day. Public address announcements are made from the desks and they also have message boards. For insurance reasons, no items (including keys, packages etc) may be left at the desks or on the message boards.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT
By Train
Gatwick Express is a non-stop service between Victoria Station, London and Gatwick Airport which runs every 15 minutes from 05:20 to 00:50 and hourly overnight. The journey from London to Gatwick takes 30 minutes.
Gatwick railway station is directly linked to Gatwick's South Terminal, just a few minutes away from the North Terminal via the free Inter Terminal Transit train which runs every 3 minutes. Trains to the rest of the UK are offered by South Central, Connex South Eastern, Thames Trains and Virgin Trains Cross Country.
By Coach or Bus
Gatwick's coach station is at the ground floor of South Terminal and principle services also call at North Terminal. Passengers arriving at South Terminal, but requiring North Terminal, should take the Inter Terminal Transit. Speedlink Airport Services operates the coach and bus information desks in both terminals and in the Coach Station.
By Car
Gatwick is 28 miles (45km) south of London, directly linked to the M23 at Junction 9 and to the A23 London-Brighton road. Just a ten minute drive away, the M25 further connects with the UK's extensive road and motorway network.

* There are blue/orange badge spaces in business and long stay parking close to bus stops or admin offices. We advise that you contact the appropriate car park in advance in order to arrange suitable arrangements for transfer to the terminals.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT
By Coach or Bus
Most coach services operate from the central bus station, which can be reached by the subways linking Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The central bus station is well signed posted from all terminals and is located next to the London Underground station for Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
The travel centre at the central bus station provides full details of all services. Terminal 3 has an additional bus station by the arrivals forecourt and Terminal 4 is served directly by several operators.
By Train
Heathrow Express is the revolutionary, non-stop train service between Heathrow Airport and Paddington station in the heart of London. It's just 15 minutes to and from Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and five minutes more to and from Terminal 4. Convenient and reliable, trains depart every 15 minutes from 05:00 to 23:50, 365 days a year.
There is a Railair service operating to and from London Heathrow Airport providing links to stations in Feltham, Reading, Woking and Watford Junction.
Heathrow has two stations on London Underground's Piccadilly Line, one station for Terminals 1, 2 & 3 and one for Terminal 4. The average journey time to central London is about 50 - 60 minutes. Tubes run every five minutes at peak times and every nine minutes at off-peak times and weekends.
By Car
London Heathrow is 15 miles west of London, on the M4 motorway, near the M25 interchange. All Terminals and appropriate motorway exits are signposted. Terminals 1, 2 & 3 are located in the centre of Heathrow and can be reached via the following motorways:

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT
By Train
Services run to over 100 destinations in the UK including many tourist destinations such as the Lake District and York. There are direct, night service trains to and from Sheffield, Leeds, Huddersfield, Manchester, Bolton, Preston and Blackpool. Many other direct services are hourly from Monday to Saturday and most run a Sunday service.
By Coach or Bus
Local buses operate every half hour from early in the morning to late at night on a daily basis, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Some services start as early as 3am, and finish as late as midnight to suit the travelling needs of a 24 hour airport and our passengers.
By Car
Whatever direction you are travelling from the airport is directly accessible via J5 off the M56. When travelling by car the terminals are clearly signposted by colour coded cubes for you to follow.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT
By Train
The railway stations of Loughborough, Long Eaton, Nottingham and Derby are all located just a short bus or taxi ride from NEMA. These are all served by the main InterCity trains which are operated by Midland Mainline and Central Trains.
By Coach or Bus
National Express Airport service 240 offers direct connections daily to and from Nottingham East Midlands Airport to Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick, allowing onward connections throughout the UK. A range of bus services link NEMA to the towns and villages surrounding the Airport and the cities of Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.
By Car
Nottingham East Midlands Airport is in the centre of the country, surrounded by the cities of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and within easy reach of Sheffield, Stoke upon Trent and Tamworth. The Airport is easily accessible from all parts of the UK, either by road or by public transport.
